The latest Vitara Brezza from Maruti Suzuki is now available to book at the company dealer or through the official online channel.
Maruti Suzuki announced on Monday the opening of bookings for the latest edition of the Vitara Brezza subcompact SUV for an amount of 11,000. First launched in the Indian car market in February 2016, the Brezza was a resounding success and is often credited as the model that started the ball rolling in popularizing sub-compact SUV vehicles in the country. The latest Vitara Brezza will renew its intense rivalry against a long line of modes including Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and even Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
Maruti Brezza has been a resounding success here with over seven lakh models sold in about seven years since its initial launch. And this is despite the fact that the Brezza was initially sold with only a diesel engine option and is now offered with just a petrol engine at a time when many rivals are targeting both groups of customers. Going forward, Maruti Suzuki is counting on the big updates on the Brezza to propel it further forward.

The 2022 Vitara Brezza gets plenty of updates to its exterior profile, with spy shots revealing a much slimmer front grille with redesigned LED headlights featuring DRLs. The alloy design has also been revamped and there seem to be more distinct character lines on the model’s bodywork. Most interesting of all these updates is that Brezza will now be the very first Maruti Suzuki model to offer a sunroof.

Inside, the latest Brezza will showcase a new look for the dash, an updated nine-inch infotainment main screen, and a number of other tech-based features such as wireless charging, 360-degree camera, HUD, mood lighting and ventilated front seats.
The dimensions of the new Brezza have not changed and as such the model will offer the same amount of space for the passengers in the car, while also keeping the boot space the same at 328 litres.
As for the technical specifications, the new Brezza will receive the K15B series 1.5-litre petrol engine that will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed torque converter. This is the same engine that also powers the Ertiga and XL6, although the tuning can be slightly different to help the Brezza get more miles. The claimed mileage of the current model is 17.03 kmpl on the MT and 18.76 kmpl on the AT.
