Hyundai has announced that the fourth-generation Tucson will be unveiled in India on July 13, 2022. The SUV is likely to go on sale in the coming weeks.

The design of the new Tucson is based on Hyundai’s Parametric Dynamics philosophy, with half-mirror daytime running lights integrated into the grille. The rear of the car features a full-width LED light bar with triangular taillight clusters.

Inside, the new Tucson gets dual 10.25-inch touchscreens and a digital instrument cluster. The SUV is also expected to come with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The SUV is likely to be offered with 2.0-litre turbo petrol and diesel engines along with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Higher variants are also expected to have four-wheel drive.

The Tucson will compete against SUVs such as the Volkswagen Tiguan, Jeep Compass and the Citroën C5 Aircross.
