FC Barcelona and Los Angeles Galaxy have reached an agreement on the transfer of Riqui Puig. The Catalan club reserves the right to buy back the player and 50% on any future sale.
Culer since 2013
Riqui Puig joined FC Barcelona in 2013 from Jàbac Terrassa as a U16 player. After rising through the ranks at La Masia, he made his first-team debut on December 5, 2018 against Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey, providing an assist for Denis Suarez just minutes after coming on as a substitute.
He became a full member of the senior team in the 2020/21 season, playing 57 games and scoring two goals. He has been able to celebrate titles in both the Copa del Rey (2020/21) and La Liga (2018/19).
