Being a celebrity in India is no easy feat as celebs are constantly under scrutiny by the media. Not only actors but also the star kids tend to make headlines every time they enter the city. In fact, with the popularity of social media, star kids are more likely to be in the limelight. And now, Ajay Devgn, who believes in a friendly approach to parenting, has been candid about the early exposure of his children Nysa and Yug, saying that it is not possible to escape social media these days.
“When times change, you can’t do anything. Social media is the order of the day. There is no escaping it. Why should it be any different for my children?” Ajay told Hindustan Times. Interestingly, the De De Pyaar De actor is a hands-on dad and for Father’s Day, he got candid about his parenting style, saying that parenting is a full-time passion. “The way the world is evolving, ‘rigor’ in itself, has no place in parenting,” he added. Ajay also emphasized the importance of instilling good values in the children.
Furthermore, the Golmaal actor revealed that he talks a lot with Nysa and Yug, teaching them about right or wrong and letting them soak things up. Ajay claimed that while he and Kajol are grounded as celebs, he wants Nysa and Yug to be grounded too. “They make mistakes, of course, sometimes they don’t obey. If that happens, there will be more conversations,” he explains.
Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Ajay Devgn will next be seen in India Kumar’s next Thank God with Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh. The film is slated to hit Diwali this year and will witness a box office clash with Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu.
