Ananya Panday, Vijay Deverakonda board Mumbai local train to promote Liger

Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda boarded a local train in Mumbai on Friday to reach a location for the promotion of their upcoming film, Liger. Ananya shared a few photos from their train journey, writing on Instagram: “#LIGER promotions are ‘on track’, let’s go boyzzzzzz.” The first photo shows Ananya sitting on a train seat with Vijay resting his head on her lap and lying next to her. While Ananya wears a yellow crop top and denim, Vijay Deverakonda wears a black T-shirt with ‘Waat Laga Denge’ written on it. He paired it with jeans and chappals.

Ananya also shared a few solo photos of herself posing on the train. A paparazzi account on Instagram also shared a video of her and Vijay chatting during their train ride. Some were unimpressed with the actors for traveling on an ’empty’ slow train. One Instagram user wrote sarcasm: “Struggle, real struggle to travel in an empty room.” Another said, “Empty local = No local.” Another said: “Khali train mei khade hai batao (watch them travel in an empty train).” A comment also read: “Yaar please kabhi central line ki local mai aaoo na (guys, take a ride on the central line local one day).”

On Thursday, Vijay and Ananya were featured in episode 4 of Koffee With Karan season 7. Speaking about his journey compared to star kids, Vijay said on the show, “It’s definitely not easy to break in, when you’re like an outsider with absolutely no access to the industry at all. It makes it much harder to be alienated. I’ve never blamed or disliked anyone for being born of a rich father…a parent, who acts”.

He added: “There are advantages to being born a star child, but I wouldn’t change anything on my journey. I am very grateful for every insult, every hardship and every obstacle I have encountered in my life.”
