Ashok Leyland announces financing tie up in Kenya for vehicle financing, as channel partner Deluxe Trucks and Buses inks agreement with Kenya Commercial Bank

The authorized distributors of Ashok Leyland, Deluxe Trucks and Buses in Kenya have signed a partnership with Kenya Commercial Bank to jointly promote the Ashok Leyland Brand of Vehicles

Ashok Leyland’s authorized distributors, Deluxe Trucks and Buses in Kenya, have signed a partnership with Kenya Commercial Bank to jointly promote the Ashok Leyland Brand of Vehicles. Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) is the largest financial institution in the region offering a range of services.

Ashok Leyland customers can now access flexible financing options in a deal from Kenya Commercial Bank. Thanks to the partnership, customers can enjoy up to 95% financing with an extended repayment period of 72 months and a comfortable 60-day payment holiday.

In addition, customers have access to an integrated tracking and insurance package and access to unsecured working capital of up to 3 million KES, among other banking products available from the bank.

It also caters for KCB SAHL Banking customers who can purchase trucks from Deluxe Trucks & Buses at affordable rates under the Shariah-compliant banking model.

Mr Amandeep Singh, Head of International Operations for Ashok Leyland expressed his pleasure at the partnership, noting that “Ashok Leyland Trucks and Buses has a broad, future-proof portfolio in commercial vehicle categories ranging from 2.55 tg GVW to 55 t GVW and buses suitable for all applications. Deluxe Trucks & Buses EA Ltd, wholly owned by Simba Corp, has been appointed as the sole authorized distributor of the full range of Ashok Leyland brand trucks and buses. The vehicles are assembled locally at Associated Vehicle Assemblers (AVA), which is also owned by Simba Corp.
