Mumbai: ‘Badlapur’ actor Varun Dhawan is currently high on the success of his latest film, ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. And to add kudos to his hat, there’s speculation that the actor’s upcoming movie ‘Bawaal’ is the most expensive movie to date by production value.
According to the source close to the makers revealed: “We shot the film extensively in the most expensive and interesting locations such as Paris, Berlin, Poland, Amsterdam, Krakow, Warsaw, along with a short portion in India. It is a very unique love story and now we are getting ready for a huge action scene in Warsaw We have called in action directors and stuntmen from Germany along with a talented crew of over 700 members every day Nitesh Sir and Sajid Sir have scaled up the film to let the audience see a visual treat.”
“A planned action sequence required several things such as 45 plus hedgehogs along with a countless number of grenades, knives and various explosives for a major action sequence that will be shot from tomorrow. The cost of daily shooting is about 2.5 crore and this is a 10-day schedule. This is Varun’s most expensive film to date,” the source added.
Recently, a video of ‘Bawaal’ actor Varun Dhawan said the team is heading to Warsaw, Poland for their next schedule. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, ‘Bawaal’ is a social drama.
Recently, both Varun and Janhvi announced that they had completed their recording for ‘Bawaal’ in Amsterdam and that they are currently being recorded in Warsaw, Poland. ‘Bawaal’ marks the first collaboration of the protagonist Varun and Janhvi.
‘Bawaal’ is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson and is co-produced with EarthSky Pictures. The film is expected to hit theaters on April 7, 2023.
