NEW DELHI: Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is awaiting the release of her upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, has responded to people calling for a boycott of the film. This comes after Aamir Khan urged internet users not to act strongly and watch the film in theaters. However, Kareena, on the other hand, says she does not pay attention to such negativity as it will not allow her to live her life in peace.
Speaking to India Today about the ‘Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha’ trend, the actress said: “There are different platforms. Everyone has an opinion. So if that’s going to be there now, you have to learn to ignore certain things. just impossible to live your life and that’s why I don’t take things like this seriously,” Kareena said.
The actress further stated that if a movie is good, the response will be good and surpass everything.

Prior to the release of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, the film caused controversy after “#BoycottLaalSinghChaddha” started trending on Twitter. Apparently, some Twitter users searched the archives and dug up Aamir’s controversial “India’s growing intolerance” statement and distributed it on the microblogging site.
When asked whether such campaigns against his films upset him, Aamir said it makes him “sad” according to a leading news magazine. The superstar said: “Yes, I feel sad. I also feel sad that some people who say this believe in their hearts that I am someone who doesn’t like India. In their hearts they believe, but it’s not true. It It’s a shame some people think that way.
