Commonwealth Games 2022 Day 6 Live Updates: India has started day 6 with the lawn bowls events in men’s singles and women’s pairs. They had a great fifth day in the ongoing event as the country won a historic gold in the grass bowls in the women’s four-way event. What followed was gold from the men’s table tennis team. Meanwhile, the mixed badminton team and weightlifter Vikas Thakur (96 kg) each took a silver. After a memorable day, Wednesday promises to be another exciting outing for India as the men’s and women’s hockey teams will see action alongside boxers like Nikhat Zareen and Lovlina Borgohain who take the spotlight on the showpiece’s sixth day. Notably, the weightlifting finals will also take place today, while the Indian women’s cricket team will be in action late at night. And if the entertainment is still needed afterwards, it’s athletics taking the stage at the same time to end the day with a highlight for the fans.

India remains in sixth place with 13 medals to its name. Australia tops the list with 106 medals, including 42 gold. England follow it with 86 medals and New Zealand is in third place with 26 overall.
