EXCLUSIVE: Akshay Kumar receives a Samman Patra from Income Tax department – Termed highest tax payer again

Akshay Kumar is Bollywood’s busiest actor who often believes in the saying ‘Time Lost Is Never Regained Again’. The Khiladi has several projects in the pipeline over the next year and has no plans to stop anytime soon. Pinkvilla has been informed exclusively that on Sunday morning the IRS congratulated Akshay Kumar on a Samman Patra and named him one of the highest taxpayers from the Hindi film industry.

While the actor is filming in the UK for his upcoming movie starring Tinu Desai, the Samman Patra was hosted by his team on his behalf. This isn’t Akshay’s first time getting this honor as the actor has consistently ranked among India’s top taxpayers for the past 5 years. “He has the maximum number of films these days and also rules the approval world. It is no surprise that he is on India’s top taxpayer list,” a source close to the development told me.

On the work front, Akshay is currently shooting for the UK Jaswant Singh Gill biopic. He is expected to return to India in the first week of August and delve into the promotions of his next film, Raksha Bandhan, which is gearing up for an August 11, 2022 release. His other films to be released in the coming months include include Cinderella/Katputli, Ram Setu, Selfie and Oh My God 2. Following the Jawant Singh Gill biopic, Akshay will soon begin projects including Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, a comedy starring Mudassar Aziz. , an Air Force based action drama starring Dinesh Vijan and another movie starring Dharma Production, and many more.
