‘Hungama 2’ fame Pranitha Subhash gets criticised for sitting at husband’s feet, actress hits back trolls

Actress Pranitha Subhash was recently tricked by a section of netizens into performing the ritual of Bheemana Amavasya puja sitting at the feet of her husband Nitin Raju and connecting it to the patriarchy. Now Pranitha has responded to the criticism she received and defended herself by saying that she has always been a traditional girl. Pranitha told ETimes: “Just because I have a… actor and the field is known for its glamour, doesn’t mean I can’t follow a ritual I grew up in and fully believe in.” She added: “I’ve always been a traditional girl and I love everything related to values, rituals and family at its core.” Pranitha concluded by saying, “You can be progressive and modern, but that doesn’t mean you forget your roots.” For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
