The INFINITI QX60 tops the midsize premium SUV segment in the JD Power 2022 US Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) survey
The INFINITI QX60 tops the midsize premium SUV segment in the JD Power 2022 US Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) survey.
The top position in the segment for the QX60, the latest addition to INFINITI’s lineup, helped the brand advance in the rankings of premium competitors. In the 2022 study, INFINITI improved more than any other premium brand, achieving 24 points and rising three positions year over year.
The annual JD Power Study measures owners’ emotional attachment and enthusiasm for their new vehicle after 90 days of ownership. The APEAL survey asks owners to consider 37 characteristics, ranging from the sense of comfort they feel when they climb into the driver’s seat to the excitement they get when they step on the accelerator pedal.
“Since 1989, INFINITI’s goal has been to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction, so it’s really encouraging to get a segment top position in a survey that truly reflects the voice of QX60 buyers,” said Peyman Kargar, President of INFINITI Global. This award recognizes the incredible work of our product planning, design and engineering teams who have created a vehicle that not only has strong showroom appeal, but also puts a smile on buyers’ faces long after they buy it.”
With the launch of the 2022 QX60, INFINITI began reinventing the nameplate and creating a luxurious, family-friendly SUV that makes everyday tasks, weekend sports, school rides and road trips easier and more comfortable.
Combining a sleek, modern exterior with a custom, spacious interior, the QX60 offers serene comfort for up to seven passengers. A comprehensive suite of technology supports both a confident ride and connected passengers.
The 2022 US APEAL survey is based on responses from 84,165 new 2022 model year new vehicle owners surveyed after 90 days of ownership. The survey was conducted from February 2022 to May 2022, based on vehicles registered from November 2021 to February 2022.
