Zimbabwe, the last participant in the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, along with the Netherlands, will miss the services of their two senior pacers in the upcoming home series against Bangladesh, which starts on Saturday (July 30). Tendai Chatara and Blessing Muzarabani are out with injuries.
Both bowlers sustained their injuries during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier. While Muzarabani suffered a tear in the thigh muscle, Chatara broke his collarbone.
Victor Nyauchi and Tanaka Chivanga are included in the roster in the duo’s absence. The remaining Zimbabwean players, who were part of the recently concluded qualifier in Bulawayo, have retained their place in the 15-man roster.
Zimbabwe is set to host Bangladesh for a three-match T20I series, followed by a three-match ODI series and all six matches will be held at the Harare Sports Club.
