Ishaan Khatter joins Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ | Hindi Movie News

Last August, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt announced their road trip drama ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, which is being directed by Farhan Akhtar. ETimes has exclusively confirmed that the shooting of the film has been postponed and that the team will start shooting in early 2023.

Ishaan Khatter joins these three lead actresses, who will reportedly be playing the male lead in this road trip entertainer. According to a news portal, the actor had signed on the dotted line a long time ago, but the makers are waiting for the right moment to make it official. Speaking of the film’s delay, Alia had indicated that it couldn’t happen this year due to her pregnancy. “IT HAPPENS!!…Next year we will go on floors. Obviously we are not allowed on the floor this year (referring to her pregnancy). We’re not letting go of that movie. We’re fighting for it and we’re all too excited about it. It’s going to be pretty big and we can’t wait,” Alia Bhatt told IANS.

Priyanka Chopra announced the project and had revealed that it all started in November 2019 when she wanted to make a ‘Hindi movie’ ASAP. She had written: “But it had to be the right one – different, cool, never done it before…I thought. The idea grew into a movie with an all-female cast. There aren’t enough Hindi films that are female. -starrers. This led to an impulsive phone call… to my 2 real friends about this idea involving 3 on-screen girlfriends. A celebration of friendship we called it!! Katrina, Alia and I enthusiastically met in February 2020 ( as seen in this photo), just before the world fell silent, to discuss who we could trust to bring this vision to life for us and our choice was unanimous… Farhan and Ritesh, Zoya and Reema. We had all worked with @excelmovies and @tigerbabyfilms individually so this seemed perfect Coincidentally Farhan was working on a female road trip film at the same time! Talking about all the stars aligning! And here we are today… #JeeLeZaraa… it only took 3 years to get all es to align our schedules, but we stuck together and made it happen! to friendship and breaking the mold!! Can’t wait to hit the road with Aloo and Katty. My heart laughs.”
