Prasidh Krishna sacked Shreyas Iyer for a duck in the tour match against Leicestershire
India got off to a poor start on Day 1 of the touring game against Leicestershire as the batters struggled in bowling-friendly conditions after skipper Rohit Sharma decided to hit first after winning the toss. Openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill got the team off to a good start, but there was a middle order collapse after the duo were sent back.
There are a few Indian players who play for Leicestershire, a move that would give most players in the squad some playing time. Two of those players are frontline seamen Jasprit Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna.
And it was the latter that gave the touring Indians a massive thump when he sent off middle-class Shreyas Iyer for a duck.

Iyer went for an extended drive to a delivery that fell sharply after casting and suffered a weak inside en route to the gloves of Rishabh Pant.
The quick dismissals of Hanuma Vihari (3), Shreyas Iyer (0) and Ravindra Jadeja (13) meant India had lost half of its side, by just 81 runs.

A win or draw in the upcoming rescheduled Test against England would give the Indians a much-anticipated series win on English soil within 15 years.
