Janhvi Kapoor has clarified her statement about making a movie with brother Arjun Kapoor, calling it “nepotism.” The actor said she was so “exhausted” amid her overcrowded schedule that she doesn’t know what she said during her interviews. She is currently promoting her upcoming movie, Good Luck Jerry. Also read: Janhvi Kapoor Says ‘Math Makes You Retarded’, Twitter Rosters Her For It
Janhvi also appears to be retracting her warning that she would “disadvantage” the trolls if they came after her sister Khushi Kapoor, who will be making her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.
Speaking to Filmi Mirchi about claiming to be making a movie with her film family and calling it “nepotism,” Janhvi said in an almost drowsy state: “I say so much, but look, that’s it, what I am “I’m trying to talk now. When I get to the 20th interview of the day, I tend to talk nonsense. So I think I was trying to make a joke, but I didn’t land well.”
She was also candid about not skipping the gym even after not sleeping and traveling long hours because it makes her feel good. Speaking about one such incident, she said, “I was out of sleep, I said, okay, I’m going to the gym because I need to look fit. I don’t know what I was doing in the gym because I was so sleepy. I don’t know what I said in one of these interviews because I’m so sleepy.”
Like many such statements in a sleepy state, Janhvi also responded to her own statement of “scrupulous” trolls allegedly attacking her sister Khushi Kapoor. “I became very passionate. What can I do, I can’t go and look around them and do something. But it will upset me and it will upset me more than anyone who says anything about me,” she said.
In addition to Good Luck Jerry, Janhvi also has Mr and Mrs Mahi with Rajkummar Rao, her father Boney Kapoor’s production titled Mili and Bawaal with Varun Dhawan.
