We are shifting our focus back to badminton as the Indian mixed team has reached the semi-finals by beating South Africa 3-0 in the quarter-finals. After taking a 2-0 lead over Lakshya Sen and the pair of B Sumeeth Reddy and Ashwini Ponnappa, Aakarshi Kashyap won her match against Johanita Scholtz 22-11, 21-16.
In the semi-finals, India will face the winner of the ongoing match between Scotland and Singapore. The match will be played on Monday, August 1.
