Kangana Ranaut called Aamir Khan a “mastermind” and claimed that the actor “curated” the negativity surrounding Laal Singh Chaddha.

Aamir Khan is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated film Laal Singh Chaddha. While fans eagerly await the film, ‘Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha’ is also trending on Twitter. Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram stories on Wednesday and commented on the trend. She called Aamir Khan the “mastermind” and claimed that the actor “curated” the negativity surrounding the film.

“I think all the negativity surrounding the upcoming release Laal Singh Chadda has been expertly curated by mastermind Aamir Khan Ji himself. This year, no Hindi films have worked (with one exception of a comedic sequel), only Southern films that are deeply rooted in Indian culture or have worked with a local flavor. A Hollywood remake wouldn’t have worked anyway,” she wrote.

“But now they will call India intolerant, Hindi movies need to understand the pulse of the audience, it’s not about being a Hindu or Muslim. Even after Aamir Khan made ji Hinduphobic PK or called India intolerant, he gave the biggest hits of his life. Please stop talking about religion or ideology. It takes away from their bad acting and bad movies,” Kangana added.

Earlier, Aamir Khan also reacted to the ‘Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha’ trend and asked everyone to watch his film. “I feel sad that some people who say this believe in their hearts that I am someone who doesn’t love India. But it’s not true. It’s a shame that some people think that way. That is not the case. Please don’t boycott my movie. Please watch my film,” he said.

Laal Singh Chaddha stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh alongside Aamir. It is also the Bollywood debut of Southern superstar Naga Chaitanya. Laal Singh Chaddha is a Hindi remake of Tom Hanks’ acclaimed 1994 film Forrest Gump. It will hit theaters on August 11. This means the film will clash with Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s Raksha Bandhan at the box office.
