Ketki confirmed this, telling ETimes TV, “I don’t want people to be a part of my sadness. People should be a part of someone’s happiness.”
Talking about how she can do this after such a big personal loss, Ketki said she won’t be Ketki Dave the actor until after she goes on stage. “I get right into the character and Ketki Dave’s personal life doesn’t get into the character,” she says.
“Yesterday the play was in Surat. I went there too,” said Ketki, who has not taken a day off since July 28.
Ketki said she has been trained from childhood to ensure that her professional work does not suffer. “I reported for work even when I was unwell. A project is not just me involved. The whole team is involved. The shows are booked in advance and I don’t want anyone to suffer because of me.”
