Pakistan round-up: President refuses to sign election reforms bill

More than 1,000 Chinese nationals in Islamabad will be asked to inform police ahead of their move to ensure their safety, according to a media report on Monday, amid mounting attacks on Chinese citizens in Pakistan.

The decision was made at a meeting held to evaluate the performance of the recently established District Foreign Security Cell for the safety of foreigners, especially Chinese nationals.

More than 1,000 Chinese citizens in the city are connected to more than three dozen projects, businesses and companies. Read the full story
