Adipurush is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated Indian movies. The film is a PAN Indian project and is expected to be a hit at the box office when it comes out. Aided by Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior fame director Om Raut, the film is running on a very high budget.

The film is based on Hindu mythology Ramayana and the actor of Radhe Shyam will play the titular role of Lord Ram. Also starring Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh, it promises to be a visual spectacle with some never-before-seen sequences and visual effects. As work on the film progresses steadily, there is now an interesting report circulating about a compensation hike by the Darling actor.

According to the report in Bollywoodlife, Prabhas has demanded an increase of 20 crores† Contrary to what has been previously reported, the actor would file a complaint 100 crores for Adipurush, meaning he demands a walk from 20% in his fee. Unable to afford a delay, the creators have no choice but to meet his demand, resulting in an increase in the film’s budget.

Adipurush is scheduled for release on January 12, 2023.

Meanwhile, Om Raut, who has worked on Adipurush, recently shared some key aspects of the film during a conversation with IANS. “Ramayana has always been a strong influence for centuries. I portray the ‘Parakrama’ (magnificence and splendor) side of Ram, which has had a great impact on me,” said Raut.

Speaking of Prabhas, the director said: “Prabhas is one of the nicest people to work with. In addition to his working attitude, Prabhas brings home-cooked food to the sets. What I like about him is that he always considers people on the sets, regardless of their size.”
