Ranbir Kapoor creates a buzz on the internet after YRF (Yash Raj Films) releases the teaser of his upcoming movie shamshera† In the film, the actor will play a never-before-seen role and he thinks his father, Rishi Kapoor, would have liked to see him as Shamshera. Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2022 after a battle with cancer. According to a Times of India report, he said his father always wanted him to play a role that could connect with audiences across the country. Ranbir added that he would like to know if the public will accept him as Shamshera.

According to a report in the Times of India, Ranbir Kapoor said: “I really wish my father was alive to see this film. He’s always been blatantly honest about his criticism of whether he liked something or not, especially with my work. So “It’s sad he won’t see it. But I’m really excited to be able to make a movie like this and I hope he’s watching me somewhere up there and he’s proud of me.”

In the report, Ranbir Kapoor added: “shamshera is a step in that direction, but the film has not yet been released. I’m really excited to see how people will accept me in this role, but I’m really excited to get to play a part like this.”

In the film, Ranbir Kapoor plays a titular role of a man named Shamshera, who turns into a chieftain for the safety of his tribe. Aided by Karan Malhotra, Ranbir will close the horns with Sanjay Dutt in the film. shamshera Vaani Kapoor also plays a crucial role.
