The LaLiga Primera Division football matches have been announced. Xavi Hernández’ FC Barcelona Team plays against Rayo Vallecano in the first LaLiga game of the 2022/23 season at Camp Nou during the weekend of August 13/14.
Furthermore, the draw on Thursday in Las Rozas determined that Barça complete league season at Celta de Vigo in Balaídos during the weekend of June 3/4.
Clásicos in October and March
Two more notable dates are the two matches against Real Madrid. Real Madrid v Barca in Santiago Bernabeu will be played on the weekend of October 15/16 (matchday 9) and Barcelona v Madrid at Camp Nou will be played on the weekend of March 18/19 (matchday 26).
The derbies against Espanyol and Girona
The first set of fixtures ends with no less than a Barcelona – Espanyol . Derby at Camp Nou, which will be played on one of the last three dates in 2022. On 14 May is the short trip to the RCDE Stadium for the return leg (matchday 34), with less than a month left until the end of the season.
Further, Girona’s return to Primera means Barça will be playing against a different Catalan team this season. However, they will have to wait until 2023, because the away game in Montilivi is scheduled for January 28/29† Barça will then host Girona at Camp Nou on April 8/9 (matchday 28).
Other dates for the agenda
Other games stand out, like both games against Atletico Madrid – Barça will play the away game on January 7/8, while the match at Camp Nou will be played during the Sant Jordi celebration weekend of April 22/23.
It is worth noting that Barça will face Osasuna in Pamplona (November 8) for the international break for the 2022 World Cup in Qatarwhile the first game back will be the derby and the last game of the calendar year at home against the aforementioned Espanyol.
