Salman Khan is certainly a superstar these days, but it goes without saying that the actor has seen lows as well. The actor recently presented IIFA 2022 in Abu Dhabi when he also opened up about the time when he had no money even to buy a t-shirt.
In the recent promo of the mega award show, Salman Khan can be seen about the time when he faced financial difficulties. When asked by Riteish Deshmukh about the most memorable moment of his life, Salman revealed how there was a time when he couldn’t afford a t-shirt and so it was Suneil Shetty who helped him buy one. “Back when I had no money, I went to Suniel Shetty’s clothing store. It was a very expensive one. I couldn’t afford anything more than a shirt or jeans and that’s when Suniel realized I had no money, so he gave me a stone wash shirt. He noticed that I had a wallet in mind,” said the actor.
As Salman walked on to Suneil’s son and actor Ahan Shetty, he added, “So he took me home and gave me that wallet.” In the promo, Ahan was also seen standing up and hugging the Tiger 3 actor as it collapsed.
For the inexperienced, IIFA 2022 was held at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi and hosted by Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Maniesh Paul. Several celebrities including Nora Fatehi, Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan rocked the stage with their performances.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently at work on Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali with the likes of Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill and Jassie Gill. The actor will also be seen in Tiger 3 along with Katrina Kaif. The film will hit theaters next April. Other than that, Salman will likely begin shooting No Entry Sequel in October of this year.
