Tests for diagnosing heart disease???
Now people die of heart disease even at a young age. A deteriorating lifestyle and the habit of not exercising cause problems such as high cholesterol and blood pressure, and both diseases cause a heart attack or cardiac arrest. Often the signs of a heart attack begin to enter the body 24 hours in advance, but the mistake of considering it normal is a serious one.
If you feel chest pain or suffer from heart related problems, you should immediately have 6 types of tests to know the condition of your heart.
1. Blood test gives you the inner condition
To know the condition in the heart, you need to do some special blood tests. Blood tests will be able to detect everything from muscle damage to cholesterol and sugar etc. Blood tests can easily determine the excess or deficiency of sodium, cholesterol, triglycerides, vitamins and minerals etc in the body. Along with cholesterol, vitamins D, B, sugar should be tested.
2. Echo test
Ultrasound test can also be done to know the health of the heart. Echo test is also called echocardiogram. Ultrasound is a type of ultrasound that measures the beating and pumping of the heart. The ultrasound test allows sound waves to be used to see images of the inside of the heart. It also tells about minor problems in the heart.
3. Cardiac CT Scan
Cardiac CT scan tells about the conditions around the heart and chest. The X-ray tube takes pictures of the heart’s surroundings and reveals a lot about the heart.
4. Chest X-ray
A chest X-ray should be taken if there are problems with breathing. Chest X-rays are used to see pictures of the chest, the heart, and find out the real cause of shortness of breath. Chest X-rays are done with low radiation.
EKG is one of the easiest tests to check the heart. Electronic signals from the heart can be recorded via EKG. It shows whether the heart is working properly or not.
6. Holter monitoring
The heart rate can be detected by performing the Holter monitor test. This test is often done when there is no discomfort after the EKG. This test is done using a portable EKG machine. This test requires the person to wear this device for 24 to 72 hours. If you have chest pain or trouble breathing, you should have these tests.
