Video: Giant snake wrapped around car - real or fake?

The snake in the video is not real and is just an installation in a zoo in China.

The sight of a snake can send shivers down the spine and make a person run for life. But what if you come across a giant snake wrapped around a car? This viral video – not for the faint of heart – is sure to give you ‘Anaconda’ vibes.

The clip, shared on Twitter, shows a man pointing at a vehicle with a huge snake around it. From a distance, due to its sheer size, the snake appears to have partially lifted the van – but wait!

Although many could be heard screaming in the background, the snake is not seen in the clip. A user, meanwhile, pointed out that it is fake – because of the pattern on the body and the color.

Since the video was posted, it has been viewed more than 2 million times on Twitter.

“Good try but failed,” said the user who questioned the video’s authenticity and labeled the snake as “fake”.

Meanwhile, Twitter users caught up with their speculations. He commented on what happened to the driver.

Another user said her six-year-old son watched this on-loop. This is what the child then asked:

This user asked what a snake has to eat to get that big. “A humpback whale?”

Another swore never to visit the place where the huge snake belongs.

Another opted for hibernation – if this turns out to be real.

Meanwhile, there were a few who opted for the side calling it fake. This one was pretty sure the video was definitely not real.

This one also refused to believe that the reptile was real.

According to fact-checking website Snopes, the snake in the video is not real. The website claims that the snake is just an art installation at a zoo in China.

The video was shot at Zhongnan Baicao Garden Zoo and Amusement Park in China’s Zhejiang Province. An Instagram page, NatureLife_Ok, shared a video of the install from a different angle and it was pretty obvious it was just an install. The clip also featured giant fake eggs as part of the installation.
