Washington Sundar left quite an impression during his inaugural stint with Lancashire, England, and he has delivered impressive performances thus far. In the fourth and final innings against Kent in Division 1 of the championship, Sundar took three wickets to give Lancashire a comprehensive 184 run win. Over the course of the innings, Sundar produced a perfect off-break to rattle the batter’s stumps.
Sundar’s delivery hit the rough spot on the wicket and it turned around in a big way, casting Kent’s Jordon Cox’s defense and sending him back after scoring just 1 run.
The ball spun widely between the bat and the toad, taking the top of the stump, causing the Sundar and Lancashire players to celebrate. This was Sundar’s second wicket of the innings after getting the better of Kent skipper Jack Leaning.
