Wesley Fofana Drops Two Major Transfer Hints As Leicester City Name Demands

Chelsea target Wesley Fofana has dropped two key transfer tips on social media after Leicester City’s stance was revealed.

The 21-year-old appears to be Chelsea’s main option in central defense after losing to Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen this summer.

Players like Jules Koude, Nathan Ake, Matthijs de Ligt, Presnel Kimpembe and Milan Skriniar have all been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge this summer, with only Koulibaly arriving in defense so far before the new season.

Recent reports have stated that Leicester are interested in Chelsea defender Levi Colwill as talks over a transfer for Fofana progress this summer.

However, the defender has now given Chelsea a bit of a boost after dropping two key transfer tips on social media.

First, the 21-year-old lijkt DELETED Leicester City from his bio on Twitter, sparking Chelsea fans on social media.

The defender had his current employers in his bio, but that’s not the case anymore as it looks like it changed sometime on Tuesday morning.

In addition, Fofana took to Instagram to give another hint while uploading a quote in French.

When translated to English the post reads: “My dad told me you’re going to annoy a lot of people if you start doing what’s best for you and I’ve come to realize that.”

It is unclear whether this has to do with a possible move to Chelsea, as one of his friends has already posted a photo of the defender in a Blues kit in the past.

Leicester’s stance has also been revealed, as Ben Jacobs reported about the transfer saga.

The journalist stated that the two clubs are nearly £20 million apart in their initial valuation for Fofana, with Chelsea willing to move up.

Further talks will take place this week as the Blues step up their hunt for the Leicester star.

It remains to be seen if a deal can be struck, with Fofana’s social media activities questioning his future.

Chelsea are hoping to close a deal on Saturday when the Premier League season gets underway.
