What’s New & Which Devices Will Receive The Update?

OxygenOS 13’s custom user interface promises a new visual style, useful tools, and several new features and improvements for eligible OnePlus devices.

OnePlus has announced OxygenOS 13 as the next iteration of its custom user interface for its Android smartphones. OxygenOS is the custom Android skin that comes with OnePlus smartphones sold outside of China. For the company’s phones in China, OnePlus supplies them with ColorOS, Oppo’s custom user interface for its smartphones.

In 2021, OnePlus announced that it would merge OxygenOS with ColorOS, creating a new unified operating system to be released in 2022. However, the company decided to cancel the plan in February 2022 after backlash from fans. Despite the cancellation, both operating systems are still linked as they share the same unified OS codebase.
